The TA Head CRM is a member of the local Innovative Medicines Leadership Team (IMLT). This role requires a dynamic leader with an understanding of the Cardio, Renal and Metabolic landscapes, capable of fostering collaboration across various areas to exceed business objectives and who possess strong digital quotient and an innovative mindset to drive growth and transformation, as well as the ability to think out of the box.

About the Role

Job Overview

The CRM TA Head drives performance in CARDIO-RENAL-METABOLIC conditions by focusing on business strategies, operational excellence, and achieving key performance metrics. This role ensures the effective execution of commercial plans, optimizing market access, and enhancing patient outcomes through strategic business initiatives. Additionally, the TA Head CRM supports and guides the Marketing & Commercial Leads and other key roles in implementing innovative digital marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.

The role leads the Cardiovascular, Renal, and Metabolic portfolio, defining strategic direction and ensuring successful product launches and subsequent growth in these markets.

Responsible for transforming portfolios and planning strategies to ensure Novartis's leadership, and evolving early brand strategies into a competitive, cross-functional launch plan for core IMI markets, driving growth and innovation through agile and digital approaches.

This role encourages digital strategies to enhance customer engagement and drive market growth.

Major Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and develop the overall performance of the TAs current and future product portfolio, ensuring sales and profits within agreed budgets.
  • Embrace an innovative mindset by continuously exploring differentiated technologies and creative approaches to differentiate Novartis in the CRM market.
  • Identify trends, opportunities, challenges, and ecosystem gaps, and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, experimentation, and continuous learning.
  • Integrate forward-thinking solutions and agile methodologies to stay ahead of industry shifts and evolving healthcare dynamics, with a strong focus on patient impact.
  • Seek partnerships and opportunities for co-development that can bring novel insights and advancements to the CRM portfolio.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for the CRM TA, aligning with global and regional objectives, and defining key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and impact.
  • Be accountable for delivering TA sales, market share, and profitability to exceed expectations while ensuring long-term, sustainable business growth and value creation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, regulatory bodies, industry partners, and the broader digital health ecosystem.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines, maintaining high standards of ethical conduct.

Key Requirements

Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Medicine, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Commercial, Marketing, others).
  • Over 8 years of experience, ideally in the pharmaceutical industry, with a solid track record in commercial roles and Value and Access (V&A).
  • Understanding of the Argentine healthcare system and regulatory environment.
  • Demonstrated success in leading complex projects and driving planning across cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
  • Extensive experience in leading product launches and pre-launch strategies across therapeutic areas.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
